What affects the cost of a video

The inputs that move the number, and the one place not to cut.

Every project is planned to its goal, so there is no price list. There are inputs, and they are the same every time.

Shoot days

One day covers three to five interviews and B-roll in one location. Each extra location usually means an extra half day.

Crew size

A director-shooter and an audio/lighting tech covers most corporate work. A second camera for panels or events.

Drone

A licensed pilot and aircraft is a line item. It also makes an establishing shot nothing else can.

Talent and locations

Scripted spots with actors and rented locations cost more than interviews at your office.

Versions

One 3-minute film costs less than the film plus six social cuts, even from the same footage.

Where not to cut

Audio. A compelling interview with clean sound beats a gorgeous film where the CEO sounds like they're in a parking garage.
